Spectrum Human Services

Spectrum Human Services provides a wide array of services to children, youth and families in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Monroe and Washtenaw Counties. These services include:

  • Foster Care Programs for neglected and abused, abandoned, medically fragile, multiply handicapped, dually diagnosed, and behaviorally and/or emotionally impaired children and teens.

  • Independent Living Programs, including Semi-Independent Living, Intensive Specialized Placement, Youth In Transition and Closed Case Services, for youth who have been involved in either Foster Care placements or the juvenile justice system.

  • Intensive In-Home Services, such as Juvenile Justice Diversion & Reintegration Alternatives (JJDRA), Supervised Transition Aftercare Reintegration Tracking (START), and Families First and Your Choice for children, youth and families.

  • General Adoption services to permanent state wards under Spectrum’s supervision.

  • Youth Residential Services consisting of four group homes for females ages 12-17 who have been abused or have specific behavioral and/or emotional problems.
